Types of

Journalers

Journal Lover

Behold the sacred craft of journaling, a pursuit of those who cherish its enchantments. A true Journal Lover is one who weaves journaling seamlessly into their daily routine, crafting its pages with devoted care. They hold reverence in the transformative powers of journaling, and the many blessings it bestows upon the mind and soul.

Curious Journaler

The Curious Journaler is someone who understands the advantages of journaling. They may have learned about the benefits from others or experienced them at some point in their lives. OR, they recognize the impact that journaling has on those who love it, and are curious about the benefits and changes that it could bring to their own lives. However, for some reason, they have not yet made the transition from non-journaler to journal lover.

Non-Journaler

A non-journaler is someone who doesn’t consider themselves as someone who loves or who is curious about journaling. They also do not have the benefit of understanding the benefits of journaling. Finally, they have not yet discovered the spiritual transformation that can take place when journaling.

Paperbound

Journals

Meet PAPERBOUND, a passionate advocate of journaling. Paperbound is a company dedicated to crafting beautiful journals for everyone. From a young age, journaling has been an integral part of many people’s lives. My own journaling can be traced back to the momentous occasion of receiving my first diary from my great-grandfather on my baptism day at the tender age of 8.

With that initial gift, I embarked on a lifelong journey of documenting her thoughts, experiences, and observations. The very first journal entry, I fondly refer to as "EPIC." It encompassed remarkable details such as the events of my baptism day, the price of gas paid by my father, and even the cost of specific groceries purchased by my mother. Even at a young age, I found every aspect of life intriguing and worth capturing within the pages of my journal.

Fast forward nearly 40 years, and I now possess a collection of approximately 75 filled journals, carefully preserved in plastic tubs tucked away at the back of my closet. Occasionally, I take the opportunity to revisit these journals, relishing in the vivid memories and significant events chronicled within their pages. They have become a cherished time capsule, allowing me to share my past experiences and personal growth with my husband and children, who are captivated by the unique perspective of a girl going through similar milestones and life events.

However, my passion for journaling extends far beyond my personal collection. Recognizing the transformative power of the practice of journaling, I see it as a mindfulness exercise, one that has shaped me into a more productive, meaningful, and intentional individual. Inspired by my own journey, I established Paperbound, a platform committed to creating exquisite journals that inspire and empower others to embark on their own journaling journeys.
